Atlanta based AmLaw 200 firm and one of our closest clients is seeking a Labor & Employment Associate for their Jacksonville office.
The ideal candidate for this position:
- Will have two plus years of experience in employer side labor and employment law matters, incuding litigation
- JD graduate of an accredited US Law School
- Currently licensed to practice law in the state of Florida or amenable to sitting at the next opportunity
- Experience with pleadings, motion practice, and legal research
- Skilled in conducting witness interviews
- Strong oral and written communication skills required

Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day litigation tasks and contribute to strategic case development
- Participate in depositions, settlement conferences, and court appearances when necessary
- Draft pleadings, motions, and responses to discovery requests
- Prepare and advise on a wide range of employment law matters
- Provide compliance-related guidance to employers
